William D. Merritt

William D.'s father was Jeptha F. Merritt and his mother was Delilah A. Underwood. His maternal grandparents were Joseph D., Jr. Underwood and Macariah Dunnagan. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Joseph Underwood, Lou, Georgia L., Helena, Indiana, Lenora and Nellie. He died in 1910.¹
