Robert Barton Melton 
Robert Barton was born on November 24th, 1887 in Dallas, Texas.1 Robert Barton's father is William W. Melton and his mother was Mary Tabitha Bouldin. His maternal grandparents were Richard Graves Bouldin and Mary Jane Capshaw. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Harvey B., Nathan, William W., Roy, Willie Ann and Lelah J.. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 75 on April 3rd, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. He was buried in Rhodes Cemetery, Duncanville, Texas.1 1 General Notes
