Florence Means 
Florence was born in 1851.1 Florence's father was William Means and her mother was Mary B. Cotter. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph Benjamin Means and Hadessa Nancy Whitsett; her maternal grandparents are Florence Cotter and Eliza Kingston. She had three sisters named Lillie Kingston, Ellen D. and Maude R.. She is the oldest of the four children.General Notes

The 1860 Census states that Florance was a female age 9 while the 1870 C
en sus has Florance as a male age 19. A definite transcription error. T
he Al legheny Cemetery Records shows a Florance as dying in 1871. Is th
is the s ame Florance as in the Allegheny Cemetery Book???
The 1920 Census (hard to read) shows Florance as female and age 38 whi
ch w ould make her birth date approx 1882
