John Martin 
John was born in 1647 in Dover , Strafford, New Hampshire.1 John's father was John Martin and his mother was Esther 'Hester' Roberts. His paternal grandfather was John Martin and his paternal grandmother is Suzan Hemertin; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Rebecca Hilton. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Benjamin, Thomas, Thomas, James, Mary, Martha, Lydia and Mather. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 57 on April 18th, 1704 in Piscataway, Middlesex , New Jersey.1 General Notes
