Frantisek (Frank), Sr. Loykasek 
Frantisek (Frank), Sr. was born on October 14th, 1887 in Ostravica Czechoslovakia.1 Frantisek (Frank), Sr.'s father was Jan (John) Loykasek and his mother was Marie (Mariana) Mohyla. His paternal grandparents were Jan Loykasek and Barbora Brezina; his maternal grandparents were Frantisek (Frank) Mohyla and Mariana Blazek. He had two sisters named Marianna (Mary) and Barbara (Betty). He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 58 on December 13th, 1945 in Port Lavaca, Calhoun Co., Texas. Frank was married first to an unknown woman who died in childbirth wi
th th eir son Daniel Loykasek. Frank later remarried Otillie Marek and fo
ur chil dren were born of this marriage; Frank Jr., Jerry, Calvin (Kelly
), and Ros alie (Sissy). Frank operated an eating place and club as a live
lihood. H is second wife, Otillie, had mental problems and was committ
ed to a ment al institution. Because of the financial strain, the childr
en were rais ed by other family members. Daniel was raised by his mother
's Mother. Kel ly was raised by Ella Hill, and Sissy was raised by Betty L
oykasek. Fra nk saw his children occasionally when family visits occurred.
