Mary Ann Patterson was born on October 25th, 1854.1 Mary Ann Patterson's father is Johan Johnson and her mother was Margaret Gillis. Her maternal grandparents were Roderick D. Gillis and Mary Patterson. She had six brothers and a sister, named Daniel Webster, Stephen, John Thomas, William Roderick, Peter Angus, Archibald Alexander and Jane. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 72 on January 4th, 1927.1 General Notes
