Alvin Douglas Hyams 
Alvin Douglas was born on September 19th, 1908.1 Alvin Douglas' father was Robert Lee Hyams and his mother was Mary Myrtle Price. His maternal grandparents were Lafayette T. (Fate) Price and Martha Jane Basham. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Joseph Luther, Morris Sidney, Jennie Lee and Maggie Louise. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 79 on August 14th, 1988. He was buried in Edgewood Cem., Trenton, Kentucky.1 1 General Notes

Douglas lived in Trenton. He took over his Mother's house upon her death.
