Flora Ruth was born on March 23rd, 1913.1 Flora Ruth's father was Kenneth Fleming Huddleston and her mother was Flora Edith McFarland. Her maternal grandparents were John Brown McFarland and Flora McCraney. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Fleming, Lucian Paul, Haydn Hamilton, Kenneth Foster, Barkley Martin, John Maxwell, Richmond Elmo, Charity Kathlyn, Sallie May, Edna Grace and Anna Laurene.
