Samuel R. Hill

Samuel R. was born about 1835 in Lawrence Co., Tennessee.¹   Samuel R.'s father was Abel Winslow Hill and his mother was Mary South McLean. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Charles, Able Winslow, Jr., William M., Tennessee C., Blackburn W., John C., James P., Martha A. and Mary M..  He was the third oldest of the eleven children.  He died after 1850.¹
