Marie was born on September 7th, 1894 in Virden, Macoupin Co., Illinois.1 Marie's father was William B. Henderson and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were Henry Mitchell Skaggs and Lurena Elizabeth Carroll. She was an only child. She died at the age of 63 on May 2nd, 1958 in Greenfield, Greene Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
