Kermit Hilt was born on December 11th, 1911 in Clay Co., Alabama.1 Kermit Hilt's father was Malcolm Pinkey Harris and his mother was Ada Jane Keahey. His maternal grandparents were Willis Chalmers Keahey and Sarah Jane Greene. He had three brothers and a sister, named Theodore Roosevelt, Malcolm Paschall, J. W. and Doris Christine.
