Abner Harrington 
Abner was born on January 16th, 1777 in Chatam Co., North Carolina.1 Abner's father was Sion Harrington and his mother is Elizabeth Watts. His paternal grandparents were Charles Harrington and Agnes Hill. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Sion, Jr. and Nancy. He was the oldest of the four children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Charles Gillespie, John, James Silas, Ann Elizabeth and Mary Elvira. He died at the age of 67 on February 15th, 1844 in Lee Co., North Carolina.1 General Notes
