Moses Hankins 
Moses was born in 1781 in Virginia.1 Moses' father was John Hankins and his mother was Elizabeth Skaggs. His maternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Rachel Unknown. He had a brother and seven sisters, named Joseph, Mary, Rachel, Lucinda, Rebecca, Sarah, Lydia and Parthenia. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 83 in August 1864 in Tazewell Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
