Martin Grigsby

Martin was born in April 1879.¹ Martin's father was James M. Grigsby and his mother is Martha Ann Pruitt. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Moody Grigsby and Emily Euphemia Smith. He has four brothers and four sisters, named Purvis, James,Jr., Earl, Elmore, Emma, Nettie, Martha and Iva. He is the fourth oldest of the nine children.
