Ettie J. and William Henry were married in a religious ceremony on December 9th, 1893 in Swift Creek Township, Harnett Co., North Carolina.1 They had a son and two daughters, named Harvey Edward, Early E. and Mertie.

Harvey Edward was born in February 1895.1 He died at the age of 87 on December 21st, 1982 in Raleigh, Wake Co., North Carolina. He was buried in Grove Church Cemetery.1 1
