John Greenlee

John was born on November 26th, 1826.¹ John's father was David Samuel Greenlee and his mother was Hannah Ingram Grigsby. His maternal grandparents were Elisha Grigsby and Elizabeth Hawkins Porter. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Elisha Grigsby, David Robert Barton, James Samuel, Josepha, William Woodville, John Marshall, Elizabeth A. M., Hannah Mary, Emaline, Lavinia, Henrietta Jane Lewis and Virginia C.. He is the fifth oldest of the thirteen children.
