Sarah Ellen was born on October 27th, 1847 in Loris, Horry Co., South Carolina.1 Sarah Ellen's father was John Conner Graham and her mother was Miriam Helen Gore. Her paternal grandparents were William Bellamy Graham and Jane Conner. She had three brothers and a sister, named Lorentus Marsdell, William Bellamy, John Horry and Elizabeth Jane. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 81 on November 4th, 1928 in Marion Co., Florida.1 General Notes
