Benjamin 'Harper' Gary

Benjamin 'Harper' was born on January 28th, 1903 in Henderson, Rusk Co., Texas.¹   Benjamin 'Harper''s father is Jeremiah Deason Gary and his mother is Kate Evelyn Houston.  His paternal grandparents are Roderick Harrison Gary and Mary Susannah Harris; his maternal grandparents are Silvanous Wesley Houson and Caroline Evelyn Jackson. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William Percival, Carl Deason, Nora Belle, Fredonia Adeline Fresha, Bertha Orell and Living.  He died at the age of 72 on July 19th, 1975 in Odessa, Ector Co., Texas.¹ 

‌Benjamin 'Harper' and Willie Belle were married in a religious ceremony on July 12th, 1924.¹   They had two sons and two daughters, named Living, Living, Billie Colette and Living.
