Olivia Lee was born on December 2nd, 1906 in Spring Creek, Gillespie Co., Texas.1 Olivia Lee's father was Joseph Alvin Fairchild and her mother was Aetna Alwilda Taylor. Her maternal grandparents were Amos Gayle,Rev. Taylor and Martha Matilida Graham. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Gilbert Wade, Nilman Ishmael, Manley Franklin, Willie Vonzyl, Robert Earl, Burnecia Izora, Lillie Mae, Edith Glencoe, Lydia Marion, Ida Irene and Dorothy Lee. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 60 on February 13th, 1967 in Kenedy, Karnes Co., Texas. She was buried in Choate Cemetery, Karnes, Texas.1 1 General Notes
