Guy Monroe was born on April 11th, 1917.1 Guy Monroe's father was Charles Albert Eckert and his mother is Minnie Olive Herndon. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Jefferson Herndon and Minnie Amanda Basham. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Hubert Henry, Living, Bonnie Alberta and Living. He died at the age of 25 on January 20th, 1943 in Hugoton, Kansas. He was buried in Elmwood Cem., Augusta, Kansasa.1 1 General Notes
