Jonathan Deming 
Jonathan was born on November 15th, 1791 in Wethersfield, Middlesex Co., Conn.1 Jonathan's father was Robert (Ensign) Deming and his mother was Lucy Blin. His paternal grandparents were Francis Deming and Mary Camp; his maternal grandparents are Jonathan Blin and Sarah Peck. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Barzillai, Robert, Jr., Blinn, Franklin Francis, Henry Camp, Harriet, Mary, Nancy and Lucy. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 58 on August 31st, 1850 in Gosfield, Ontario Co., Canada.1 General Notes

le in W atertown, N. Y., where he remained until 1849, when he remov
ed to Huron, O hio. He served in the War of 1812 and his widow received 1
60 acres of la nd as bounty. He was a farmer most of his life, but was al
so engag ed in a country store business with his son Horace, in Gosfiel

Jonathan and Lois Whitney were married in a religious ceremony on November 17th, 1819.1 They had seven sons and five daughters, named Robert Blinn, Horace Fayette, George Walton, Hubert Vilender, Eli Rogers, Jonathan Newton, Franklin Sevenor, Hannah, Lucy Ann, Mary Amelia, Sarah Fidelia and Ellen Jeannette.

Lucy Ann was born on April 15th, 1823.1 She died at the age of 75 on August 14th, 1898.1
Mary Amelia Deming
Mary Amelia was born on June 26th, 1826.1 She died at the age of 76 on November 16th, 1902 in Fenton, Genesee Co., Michigan.1
George Walton Deming
George Walton was born on January 2nd, 1828.1 He died at the age of 70 on June 2nd, 1898.1
Sarah Fidelia Deming
Sarah Fidelia was born on April 12th, 1829.1 She died at the age of 22 on April 6th, 1852.1
Hubert Vilender Deming
