Sarah and Alexander, Jr. were married in a religious ceremony on May 5th, 1783 in Rowan Co., North Carolina.1 They had two sons and five daughters, named Joseph D., Alexander McWhorter, Elizabeth, Elvy, Marand, Sally and Sinthey.
