Ludy Whitaker was born on May 18th, 1874.1 Ludy Whitaker's father was Thomas Melmoth Clayton Davidson and her mother was Emma Purvis. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Davidson and Emma Selina Hart. She has two brothers and a sister, named Thomas Leonidas, James Purvis and Emma Asile. She is the oldest of the four children.
