Shadrack Gorin was born on October 8th, 1829 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 Shadrack Gorin's father was Fortunatas Pope Davenport and his mother was Martha Moore. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, William, Frances Elizabeth and Caroline Matilda. He was the second youngest of the five children.
