John Alexander Brunson 
John Alexander was born on March 3rd, 1828.1 John Alexander's father was William Cyrus Brunson and his mother was Sarah Stanley. His paternal grandparents were Mathew Brunson and Maria Allston Bacot; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Stanley and Charlotte Stanley. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Mathew, Thomas Jefferson, Ervin James, Julia A., Elizabeth Green and Maria Louisa. He died at the age of 34 on July 31st, 1862.1 General Notes
