Thomas was born about 1820 in Mulberry, Lincoln Co., Tennessee.1 Thomas' father was Benjamin Uriah Boteler and his mother was Eliza Harley. His paternal grandparents were Alexander, Sr. Boteler and Elizabeth Hackney. He was an only child. He died after 1880 in Alabama.1 -
