Alverta Elzabeth was born on January 27th, 1880.1 Alverta Elzabeth's father was Oliver Dustin Benton and her mother was Sarah Proctor. Her maternal grandparents were Robert Proctor and Jane Elizabeth Garrison. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Elbert Jay, Atwell Lee, Oliver Proctor, Irene Myrtle, Mable and Ethel Maria.
