Joseph Franklin Bassham 
Joseph Franklin was born on September 9th, 1912 in Kaufman Co., Texas.1 Joseph Franklin's father was James Franklin Bassham and his mother was Sarah Ida Bullard. His paternal grandparents were Thomas J. Basham and Mahalia Rosena Littlejohn; his maternal grandparents are LaFate Bullard and Martha Unknown. He had three brothers and a sister, named Wilburn B., Leonard Rudolph, Helton Thomas and Rose Mary. He was the youngest of the five children. He died after 1920.1 General Notes
