Hugh Allen Bassham 
Hugh Allen was born on June 12th, 1907 in Bethel Springs, McNairy Co., Tenn.1 Hugh Allen's father was Edgar Eugene Bassham and his mother was Lela Wilson. His paternal grandparents were Eli Franklin (Frank) Bassham and Mary Elizabeth Stovall; his maternal grandparents were James Frank Wilson and Mary Jane "Mollie" Maxedon. He had a brother and a sister, named Alvah Eugene and Mary Imogene (Emma). He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 81 on January 27th, 1989 in Quitman, Brooks Co., Georgia.1 General Notes
