Thomas Elbert Basham 
Thomas Elbert was born on July 12th, 1869 in Reedyville, Butler Co., Kentucky.1 Thomas Elbert's father was John Allen Davis Basham and his mother was Helen Rhuema Duncan. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Wesley (Rev) Basham and Sally Davis Young. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Mollie, Ancil M., Birdie, Allie, Samuel L., Sallie and Elizabeth (Lizzie). He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 83 on October 23rd, 1952 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., Ky.1 General Notes
