Franklin M. Basham 
Franklin M. was born on December 22nd, 1872 in Kingston, Madison Co., Arkansas.1 Franklin M.'s father was John Pickens Basham and his mother was Mary Jane Brown. His paternal grandparents were James Madison Basham and Mary Ann Johnston; his maternal grandparents are Robert S. Brown and Susan Adair. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Arthur, William Edmond, Robert Matthew, John Moody, Virginia Mae (Virga) and Susan Marguerite (Susie). He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 68 on July 6th, 1941 in Monterey Co., California.1 General Notes
