Delbert Vernon was born on September 18th, 1907 in Colorado.1 Delbert Vernon's father was Thomas Samuel Basham and his mother was Jessie C. Nash. His paternal grandparents were George Basham and Elizabeth Hamilton. He had five brothers and two sisters, named George Orman, Thomas V., William Woodrow, John Harvey (Jack), Infant, Thelma B. and Lola Wuanita. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 62 on July 15th, 1970 in Grand Junction, Mesa Co., Colorado.1 General Notes
