Buford Basham 
Buford was born about October 1897 in Allen Co., Kentucky.1 Buford's father was Allen D. Basham and his mother was Sarah Jane (Permilla) Heath. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Ethan, Oney Allen, Booker Virgil, Robert Lee, Minnie L., Ollie May and Ruth. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died on May 28th, 1979 in Allen Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
