Alva Stone Basham 
Alva Stone was born on March 3rd, 1892 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Alva Stone's father was Manoah Washington Basham and his mother was Willie Rosetta Tucker. His paternal grandparents were Manoah Stone Basham and Elizabeth Armes. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William Pleasant, Alzo Washington, Bertha Freeman, Cora Bee and Nora Lee. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 65 on April 8th, 1957.1 General Notes
