John Henry Alvey

John Henry was born on April 22nd, 1841.¹   John Henry's father was Aaron Alvey and his mother was Julia Ann Stevens.  His paternal grandfather was John Baptist, Sr. Alvey and his paternal grandmother is Mary Lake. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Benedict, George Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Helen and Mahala.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died in Union St. Vincent, Ketucky.¹
