John was born in Bishops Canning,Wiltshire,England. John's father is Simon Ruddle and his mother is Margery UNKNOWN. He was an only child. He died on May 29th, 1781 in Shenandoah,VA.
They had three sons and two daughters, named Steven, Cornelius, George, Clara and Sarah.
