His paternal grandparents were Richard III Talbot and Aline Basset; his maternal grandparents were Rhys Mechyll Ap Rhys and Matilda De Braose. He was an only child. He died about September 3rd, 1306 in Eccleswall Manor, Herefordshire, England. He was buried in Lord Of Eccleswall, Governor Of Cardiff.General Notes
