Sir J OHN D E SAINT PH I LIBERT, son an d heir, was bor n and bap tise d a

servi ce ov erseas, u nder the Earl of Norf olk, i n 1320, and in Ga

1324 and 1 325; and in 1322 wa s with the Earl in Sco tland . He was am
on g
t hose summoned, by procla mation, to attend t he Grea t C ounc il at
Westm inst er, 1324; Knight o fthe Sh ir e for Ber ks, 1327; on a com
mi ssion
of t he pe ace, Suf folk an d No rfolk , 1 331. In 1331 and 1332 he was in
Gascony, as may or of Bor deaux.
Hem arrie d Ada. He died b efore 12 Febr ua ry 1 332/ 3, seised o f lands
in
Norfolk, Suf f olk, Essex, Glooce ster and Ber kshir e . His widow di ed
about
