Ruth was born on March 15th, 1761 in Brentwood, New Hampshire. Ruth's father was Jedediah Prescott and her mother is Hannah Batchelder. Her paternal grandfather was John Prescott and her paternal grandmother is Abigail Marston; her maternal grandparents are Samuel Batchelder and Elizabeth Davis. She was an only child. She died at the age of 54 on September 15th, 1815 in Rumney, New Hampshire.-
