rri age ; but, if th e inquest of 1212 m ay be trusted, some a t least of
the
fee s of G od ric dap iferwere granted to W arin 's ancestors by Henry I :
the se s eem to h ave been settled u pon him, a nd he also held oth er
property. But his descen da n ts wer eenriched when part of the Lacy
e stat es an d the Talb o t fee cam e to them asa consequence of Wa rin' s
marri age, t he whol e inherita nc e the n formin g the Barony of Munchen
sy.
He ma rried Agne s, younger daughter a n d coheir of Pa ynFI T Z JOHN, by
h is
wife S ybil. Warin died in or before 1 162, wh en his rel ict was wife of
Haldenal d DE BIDUN, wh om she surv i vcd. I n 1185 she was awid ow, said
to
b e aged 60, wit h 3 s ons , Sir Ralph and S ir W illiam de Munchensy,
k nights, and H ubert de Mun chensy , a clerk. She a pp ear s to havedied
