Louis I The Pious was born in August 0778 in Chasseneuil, Lot Et Garonne Near Poitiers, Aquitaine, France.  Louis I The Pious' father was Charlemagne Holy Roman Empire and his mother was Hildegard Of Swabia.  His paternal grandparents were Pepin III The Short King Of Franks and Berthe Of Laon; his maternal grandparents were Gerold Count Of Vinzgau Duke Of Alemania and Emma Of Alemania. He had a brother and two sisters, named Pepin, Rotrude and Bertha Of. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Hugo L'abbe and Alpaide Alpais.  He died in Near, Ingelheim, Rhinehessen, Hesse.  He was buried in Aachen Cathedral, Aachen, Rheinland, Prussia.
