direc ted Jordano Foliot or Folyot, wh e reby he is held to have be com e
LORD FOLIOT .
He married Margery , daug hter of Sir Ad am DE NEUMARCHE, of W o mersley,
C ampsall, Bentley , &c. , co . York. He died sh ortl y before 2 May 1299
,
aged 50 and more. His wid ow had livery of t he ma nors of Grims ton and
Wel low, o f which she and he r hu sb an d had been join tly enfeoffe
d, 1 7
September 1299. Sh e obtained., for a s i mi lar reason, the m an ors of
No rton an d Fenwic k, and held the manors of E lsi n g and East Lexham, i
n
dow er. She died 18 Apri l 1330, and was buried in Wen dli n g Abbey.
