Baudouin VI I The Peaceble Of was born in 1030 in Flanders, Belgium.  Baudouin VI I The Peaceble Of's father was Baudouin V Count Of Flanders and his mother was Adele Princess Of France.  His paternal grandparents were Baudouin IV Barbatus Flanders and Otgive De Luxembourg; his maternal grandparents were Robert II The Pious France and Constance Of Provence. He had a brother and two sisters, named Robert I Le Frison, Matilda Maud and Judith Fausta.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had a half-sister named Helene Le Bon De.  He died at the age of 40 on July 7th, 1070 in Northwestern Belgium.  He was buried in Hasnon Abbey.
