John II was born about 1226 in Blankney, Lincolnshire, England. John II's father was Oliver II Deincourt and his mother was Nichole De Camville. His paternal grandparents were Oliver I Deincourt and Annabella Nmn Oliver Deincourt; his maternal grandparents were Gerald Lord De Camville and Nicole De La Haye. He was an only child.
