Henry was born in February 1887 in , Scioto, Ohio, USA.1 Henry's father was Henry FRISCHE and his mother was Elizabeth DAVIS. His maternal grandmother was Margaret. He had a brother and five sisters, named William E., Mary Catherine, Margaret, Nora, Maymie and Rose A.. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
