His paternal grandparents were Edmund Baron & Earl DE STAFFORD and Margaret BASSET; his maternal grandparents were Hugh (8Th Earl) DE AUDLEY and Margaret DE CLARE. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Ralph, Hugh, Earl, Lord) De Stafford, Joan* (Johanna), Elizabeth, Beatrice, Catherine, Margaret and Katherine. He had three half-sisters named Joan, Jane and Margaret. He died at the age of 52 on October 16th, 1386.General Notes
