Joan MARSHALL 
Joan was born about 1202.1 Joan's father was William MARSHALL and her mother was Isabel Fitzgilbert De CLARE. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William, Richard, Gilbert, Walter, Anselm, Maud, Eve, Isabel and Sibyl. She was the third youngest of the ten children.General Notes
He devoted himself to founding religious houses (notably
St Mary des Pres, better know as Leicester Abbey.) Hew was
appointed chief justicar, a post which he held until his de
ath.
