Mary was born about 1717 in Chelsea Pensioner Hospital, London, England. Mary's father was Robert MANN and her mother was Eleanor GUISE. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas MANN and Elizabeth ALSTON; her maternal grandparents were Christopher GUISE and Elizabeth LONG. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Edward Louis B., Hoace, Galfridus (Geoffrey), Robert, James, Margaret and Eleanor. She was the youngest of the eight children.-
