John MACKENZIE 
John's father was Roderick MACKENZIE and his mother was Margaret MACLEOD. His paternal grandparents were Colin Cam MACKENZIE and Barbara GRANT; his maternal grandparents were Torquil Conneich MACLEOD and Margaret MACDONALD. He had three brothers and a sister, named Alexander, Colin, Kenneth and Margaret. He died on September 10th, 1654.General Notes
