James Henry HUGHES 
James Henry was born on May 14th, 1805 and his baptism took place on September 10th, 1805 in Bromham. James Henry's father was Robert HUGHES and his mother was Elizabeth GENT. His paternal grandparents were Solomon HUGHES and Elizabeth MARSH; his maternal grandparents were John GENT and Mary MARCHANT. He had a brother and a sister, named Robert Marsh and Mary Hay Gent. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 75 in October 1880.
James Henry and Margaret Sutherland were married in a religious ceremony on August 5th, 1835 in Bayfield, Cromaty. They had four sons and three daughters, named Robert Mackenzie, Alexander Mackenzie, Henry Erskine Mackenzie, Edward William Mackenzie, Katherine Sutherland, Elizabeth Mary Mackenzie and Margaret Alexandra Mackenzie.

Elizabeth Mary Mackenzie was born on November 17th, 1840. She died at the age of 68 on July 12th, 1909.
